Charles is fluent in English, Spanish, Mandarin and Taiwanese, which has been an invaluable resource given the diversity of the CCA’s students. Like several of our instructors, Charles has a background in medicine and healthcare administration. He earned his medical degree at Autonomous University of Central America, San Jose, Costa Rica and his Master of Health Administration at the University of Southern California.
He has spent most of his career in the elder care industry. Before joining the CCA, Charles worked at and adult day health center/community-based adult services program where he supervised a multidisciplinary team to serve the Asian community.
