Christa S. Nuber joined the Center for Caregiver Advancement in 2025 as a Communications Coordinator to help promote CCA’s mission, programs and activities. Christa is a seasoned editor, writer and content manager, with extensive experience in healthcare and medical communications. Christa enjoys storytelling for different audiences, and translating complex information into plain language that engages readers of all levels.
Christa has a BA in Theatre Arts & English from San Francisco State University and an MA in African Area Studies and International Relations from UCLA. Early on, Christa was a Peace Corps volunteer working as a teacher in Lesotho, Africa. She has a strong affinity for caregiving, and in her spare time enjoys nature walks, painting, reading and…more writing.
