Margarita is excited to join the CCA team as Clinical Instructor! Margarita graduated from the Yerevan State Medical University and holds an MD in Public Health. She worked as a doctor at CDC and “Diagnostic” Clinical Medical Corporation in Armenia. Her second career is certified by the board of California, Addiction Treatment Counselor. Margarita sits on the Executive Board of the California Association for Alcohol & Drug Educators, and the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of California. Margarita is an adjunct faculty at Glendale Community College. Her journey of transformation inspired her to become a Certified Grief Recovery specialist. Margarita’s passion is helping people who suffer from addiction, grief, physical, and mental illness, to live up to their unique potential and values. She makes an effort to live her life in alignment with Eleanor Roosevelt’s famous quote: “When You Cease to Make a Contribution, You begin to Die.”
