Workforce Development
By partnering with the employers and the labor organization representing long-term care workers in California, government agencies entrusted with workforce development, industry leaders, and experts in the field, we create career pathways for caregivers and promote the value of their work.
Health Plans
Managed Care Organizations have a vested interest in ensuring that their members receive the best possible care. We work with them to provide specialized, condition-specific training programs that provide caregivers with the skills and knowledge needed to support the unique needs of their members.
Research
Through our relationships with academic institutions and research organizations, we are able to demonstrate the impact of our training, showing how our customized programs and curriculums advance quality care, improve retention and reframe the value of care work.
Policy & Advocacy
We work with advocacy groups, policymakers and other stakeholders to raise awareness about the importance of caregivers accessing quality training programs and advocate for policies supporting career pathway programs that attract and retain long-term care workers in rewarding jobs.
Skilled Nursing
The skilled nursing industry needs well-trained workers to continue delivering quality care to the residents who depend on them. Through our Education Fund, we work with skilled nursing facilities to elevate the skills of their workers who are members of SEIU Local 2015.
