Nursing Home Caregiver Training

Free Training for Nursing Home Caregivers

We provide training opportunities, certification courses, and continuing education unit classes to nursing home workers who are part of the bargaining unit of their collective bargaining agreement with SEIU Local 2015.

We offer classes that are live and instructor-led, as well as self-paced, online, and cellphone-based classes.

  1. CNA Registered Apprenticeship Program: An earn-and-learn approach that allows workers to earn their CNA certification while getting paid for their hours in training and working as a nursing aide.
  2. Continuing Education Unit (CEU) classes: Classes that help CNAs and LVNs meet the continuing education requirements needed to maintain their licenses in California.
  3. Skills enhancement: Mobile or online classes that help workers improve their skills and enhance their personal lives.
  4. Basic certifications: Programs that help workers earn or maintain basic certifications such as CPR and Food Handler.
