Brief Description of Required Coursework:
This program has been designed to meet the curriculum and program requirements outlined by the California Department of Public Health Licensing and Certification Program – Certified Nurse Assistant. The goal of the program is to prepare the student to become knowledgeable and have the skills and judgment to execute the job of a Nursing Assistant in California. After completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination in California and strive to become competent and caring members of the healthcare team.
The program consists of 60 hours of theory and 100 hours of clinical training.

- Willingness to learn and develop caregiving skills
