Am I eligible for training?
You can enroll in the classes if you are a nursing home worker in California and part of the bargaining unit with SEIU Local 2015.
Are the classes free?
Yes! Training and support services are offered at no cost to workers through the Education Fund that is included in the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the facility and SEIU Local 2015.
How do I enroll?

Do you offer CNA certification?
Yes, we do! We offer a pathway to CNA certification at no cost to eligible SNF workers through our CNA Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP), which allows workers to get paid for their hours in the classroom while they work as nursing aides during the course of the training program. The apprenticeship guarantees a job as a CNA at a participating skilled nursing facility once the worker passes the state certification exam.
How do we get the Education Fund at our facility
Ask your union representatives or your bargaining team to include the Education Fund in your contract.
